The fourth annual Haircuts for the Holidays event was a huge success at Orchard Park Academy. Students were treated to complimentary haircuts by certified hair stylists who donated a full day of their time to ensure that kids got the freshest looks just in time for holiday fun with their families.

 

Teacher Shana Cohen and Counselor Diana Chambers with the support of Principal Secretary Tami Pister organized the event, giving Orchard Park Students the chance to have a no-cost hair styling with all the bells and whistles.

 

Parents signed up their kids for the service which happened in the Orchard Park Academy lobby. Five stylists were on hand to perform 65 haircuts, with a waiting list. All the students who signed up got their hair cut, making it a successful event with no one turned away.

 

Hairstylist Brandi Viveros raved about the event. “We just love cutting these kids’ hair. They deserve a fresh cut just in time for the holidays. We love coming every December for this incredible event!”
